Why Minnesota P.R.E.P.?
P.R.E.P. Girls AAU teams will compete in tournaments during the months of April – July. Fall basketball is available during August – November for select participants as well.
During the AAU campaign, each team will conduct (2) 90-minute practices per week (West Metro gym locations) under the direction of a paid Head Coach with extensive experience in basketball as a player, coach, and trainer. Fall basketball season features (1) 90-minute practice per week.
Season dues provided cover uniform rental (returned at end of AAU season), head coach salary & travel stipend, tournament entry fees, gym rental costs, one shooting shirt, player insurance, team administration fee, and AAU membership fees.
Tournament locations include in-state, regional border states, and national exposure events across the United States. Participation in various tournaments will depend upon the collective skill level of each assembled team. 6th – 8th teams will be limited to more regional travel.
